Vikings CB Mackensie Alexander misses Thursday’s practice

For the second-straight day, Vikings cornerback Mackensie Alexander missed Thursday’s practice with an elbow injury.

It looks less and less like he’ll play on Sunday against the Packers.

After not practicing on Wednesday, guard Pat Elflein (knee) was limited on Thursday. Also limited was cornerback Mike Hughes (knee) and cornerback Mark Fields (groin).

Full participants included tight end Tyler Conklin (ribs), linebacker Anthony Barr (knee), defensive end Danielle Hunter (hamstring) and defensive end Everson Griffen (elbow).

For the Packers, the big news was that starting left tackle David Bakhtiari (back) was held out of Thursday’s practice after practicing on Wednesday. That’s not the direction you want to go. Linebacker Oren Burks (chest) and wide receiver Darrius Shepherd (hamstring) were also held out of Thursday’s practice.

We’ll get each team’s Week 2 injury report sometime on Friday afternoon. We’ll update you accordingly.
