Vikings aren’t sure if they’ll have Josh Doctson in Week 10

The Vikings might very well need some depth at wide receiver in Week 10 against the Cowboys.

Adam Thielen’s status with a hamstring injury doesn’t look great.

What about Josh Doctson, who is eligible to return off the IR also with a hamstring injury?

“I don’t know, I’ll have to see this week,” Vikings coach Mike Zimmer said Monday.

Doctson likely wouldn’t be able to contribute tons considering he hasn’t been able to get reps in, but after Stefon Diggs, there’s Bisi Johnson, Laquon Treadwell and Davion Davis on Minnesota’s roster. Not exactly a super inspiring or experienced group.

We’ll see how Doctson practices this week and whether or not he’s able to play on Sunday night.

What does help is the fact that he spent two seasons with Kirk Cousins in Washington, so there’s some familiarity there.

The Vikings signed Doctson prior to the 2019 season after he was cut by the Redskins.
