Vikings are ‘pretty likely’ to host Eagles on Thanksgiving night

After eating all the stuffing, it sounds like you’ll be able to watch the Vikings on Thanksgiving night.

Michael Rand from the Star Tribune noted that in a recent SI Media Podcast, John Ourand from the Sports Business Journal unveiled that it sounds likely the Vikings will host the Eagles on Thanksgiving night for upcoming 2019 season.

From Rand’s piece:

“I didn’t actually write about this but I have heard that Minnesota vs. Philadelphia is one that’s in play,” Ourand said around the 32 minute mark, adding later: “It’s not dead set, but I’m told that it’s pretty likely.”

This a fun matchup and one the Vikings should most certainly be excited about considering the Eagles took the last playoff spot away from the Vikings in the 2018 season and absolutely crushed them in the NFC Championship to end the 2017 season.

Minnesota beat Philadelphia 23-21 in Week 5 last season, but that seems so insignificant now.
