Vikings are considering moving Riley Reiff to guard

Vikings coach Mike Zimmer confirmed what many have speculated over the last few months on Tuesday.

The team could move Riley Reiff, who started 28 games over the last two seasons at tackle for the Vikings, to guard.

The draft is a big reason why, so the Vikings don’t have to handcuff themselves to one position when addressing the offensive line.

Reiff actually had a pretty solid 2018 season per Pro Football Focus, grading as the league’s 23rd tackle out of 80 graded players.

Reiff, 30, enters the third year of a five-year contract. He’s set to make $9.5 million next season per Spotrac.
