Vikings 1st-round pick Garrett Bradbury is fine playing center or guard

After the Vikings drafted offensive lineman Garrett Bradbury with the 18th pick in the first round, there were questions on where he would play.

The Vikings have some flexibility. Bradbury played center most recently at NC State, but also has experience at guard.

Minnesota’s starting center the last two season, Pat Elflein, also has experience playing guard.

After being drafted, Bradbury said that he’ll play either position via Chris Tomasson.

Obviously, this is what Bradbury is going to say. He’s not going to say he’ll only play one position and not the other. If he did say that, I’d have some concerns.

But it gives the Vikings plenty of flexibility on the offensive line. The Vikings have seven more picks in this draft, and I’d be shocked if they don’t continue to try to improve this offensive line.
