Vigil viewers are all saying the same thing after episode 3 of the BBC drama

Vigil viewers are all saying the same thing after tuning into the third instalment of the BBC One thriller last night.

The six-part crime drama, that stars Suranne Jones, Leslie Rose and Martin Compston, although the actor's character was killed off after eight minutes, has been gripping fans since it first aired on bank holiday weekend.

Vigil follows an investigation after a crew member is found dead onboard the Trident nuclear submarine HMS Vigil. Police in Scotland are called in to investigate but there's a catch as the UK's nuclear deterrent must remain unbroken, so the submarine stays on patrol and detective chief inspector Amy Silva must go aboard to investigate.

But some viewers think the twists and turns on the BBC drama is getting a bit much, with many commenting they were struggling to keep up during Sunday night's show.

"#Vigil is becoming increasingly hard to watch, literally twists for the sake of twists and very disjointed," wrote one.

While another added: "Trying to get my head round this week. Too much going on and information from all angles #vigil."

And a third said: "Not sure what happened to Vigil at the halfway point. It lost its ability to efficiently navigate twists and surprises. Full reverse!"

Others, however, are here for the twists and are loving how the plot is developing.

One wrote: "#Vigil is such a riveting drama. I just watched epi. 3. There's so many twists and turns. Love it!"

Another added: "Well Vigil took some twists and turns last night!"

"Enjoying #vigil," wrote a third. £Sub-plots aplenty but not too much so it has you confused. Reveals at the right time. BBC knocking out good dramas consistently."
