A young girl from Cabra delivered a incredibly funny Holy Communion sketch on the Today show with Maura and Daithi.

Viewers were amazed by the wit and comedic timing she had.

One viewer told the Irish Mirror: "She was absolutely hilarious, I've never laughed so much in my life."

Another said: "WOW, For someone so young that was incredible, hats off to her, her teachers and everyone involved."

Last week, Emmie O'Neil's performance about her Holy Communion at the Helix theatre, Dublin went viral.

Emmie had never acted before but was encouraged to perform by her dance teacher and what a performance it was!

The schoolgirl stole the show with the hilarious sketch which was originally written and performed by Martin Higgins and June Rogers.

Emmie's mother told Independent.ie: "Emmie's stage school teacher, Sonya Johnson from Gotta Dance Stage School, gave me the sketch in January and asked me what did I think of it for Emmie"
