Viewers had so many jokes about Michael Irvin’s lively ‘First Take’ debut with Stephen A. Smith

Max Kellerman’s exit from First Take was going to bring some major shuffling across ESPN’s daytime programming, and on Monday, we got a first look at what the show will be like with Michael Irvin debating Stephen A. Smith.

Get ready for a lot of yelling.

Instead of a single replacement for Kellerman, ESPN decided to go with Irvin for most of the week and Tim Tebow on Fridays.

Ahead of Kellerman’s exit, the New York Post reported that Smith wanted Kellerman off the show in favor of “more of a debating challenger.” He seemed to get that — at least in terms of performance value and volume — on Monday.
