Viewers confused by Shane Richie’s dramatic ‘vampire’ look on Alan Carr’s Epic Gameshow

Viewers tuning into Alan Carr's Epic Gameshow on Saturday night were stunned at Shane Richie's new look.

The former EastEnders actor appeared on the ITV series alongside Vick Hope, Gabby Logan and Richard Blackwood as they played a version of Name That Tune.

As comedian Alan introduced the celebrity contestants, fans tuning in at home couldn't help but comment on Shane's appearance.

"Shane is looking like one of the vampires from Twilight. #EpicGameshow," one person tweeted.

Another viewer posted: "Shane Ritchie is looking a wee bit peaky this evening. #EpicGameshow."

A third person added: "Shane Ritchie looks like Peter Capaldi mid regeneration #epicgameshow #NameThatTune."

And a fourth viewer tweeted: "The Ghost Of Shane Ritchie currently on ITV #EpicGameshow," while another joked: "Is that the ghost of Shane Richie? #epicgameshow."

Shane, 57, looked very suave in a navy blue three-piece suit and a crisp white shirt as he guessed various songs.

The father-of-five was also rocking a slightly longer hairdo, and some thought perhaps he hadn't been for a haircut since lockdown.

"Has nobody told Shane Ritchie the barbers are open again #EpicGameshow," one viewer pondered.

Sadly, Shane didn't make it to the final of the gameshow as both he and Richard, 49, had the least points.

It was former Strictly Come Dancing Vick who made it to the end of the game as she ended up beating Gabby on the scoreboard.

The 31-year-old star ended up winning a total of £22,100 for her chosen charity and couldn't believe it as she told host Alan that it would make a "huge difference".

Alan Carr's Epic Gameshow continues Saturday at 7:30pm on ITV.
