Viewers call Rav Wilding a 'diva' after he threatened to pull out of The All New Monty striptease

Rav Wilding threatened to pull out of a striptease on ITV's The All New Monty: Who Bares Wins over worries about compromising his image on Crimewatch Roadshow.

Rav got cold feet about performing live on stage for an audience waiting to see Magic Mike Live in London as a practice run for their final The Full Monty inspired performance.

The former security guard and police officer was nervous at the news that he and a group of fellow celebs would be stripping at the Hippodrome Theatre, saying he presents a 'serious crime show.'

Rav, whose show takes to the streets of Britain to appeal to the public for help with unsolved cases, said: "I'm not comfortable getting naked in front of a bear pit of women."

One viewer urged: "Rav, you're going to be getting naked soon anyway, this night is just to see if you'll actually do it. Don't be a diva."

"If Rav felt like this, he shouldn’t have agreed to do it all," said another.

"Rav chill out with the ‘serious crime show’" said another.

Thankfully Rav was soon back in the fold to carry on with the show, saying the Magic Mike performance was part of the experience.

He said: "The reason I am doing this is because of my dad.

"If he was here he'd give me a slap across the head and say 'get on with it, just do it.'"

Diversity star Ashley and Pointless host Alexander Armstrong joined forces again to persuade a new line-up of celebrities to take to the stage and bare all to raise awareness of the importance of early health checks in preventing prostate and testicular cancer.

Joe Pasquale's father tragically died of cancer after the All New Monty

They hope to build on the impact made last year to encourage regular checks for testicular and prostate cancer.
