Vietnamese police fine men filmed showering on moving motorbike

Two men in Vietnam are fined by police after a video of them showering while riding a moving motorbike was posted online, according to local media reports.

The two were filmed riding shirtless without a helmet or protective clothing as they shampooed and rinsed their hair.

A bucket with water was wedged between the driver and the passenger, who used a jug to help rinse the driver's hair before rinsing his own.

The driver of the motorbike was Hunynh Thanh Khanh, 23, according to Vietnamese local media Tuoi Tre.

He also appeared to be juggling a crate of beer between his legs in the video.

The video was shared widely on social media, largely drawing criticism in Vietnam.

The BBC reported that police tracked them down based on their license plate after the video was brought to their attention.

Tuoi Tre reported that the men were fined 1.8 million Vietnamese dong ($113.7) for a series of traffic violations including driving without a licence, riding without wearing helmets and riding without a rear-view mirror.
