BG Pathum United coach Aurelio Vidmar is confident that his men will beat leaders Buriram United in Thai League 1 on Saturday.
Third-placed Pathum, who have a game in hand, are six points behind the Thunder Castle.
Following a slow start to the season, champions Pathum have won four successive league matches and Vidmar has rallied his men to keep the momentum.
"We are in confident mood after good results," Vidmar said.
"This is a big game and if we win, it would be like we get six points. We are confident that we will do well and get three points."
The Rabbits welcome back Brazilian striker Diogo Luis Santo, who has begun training after a long injury lay-off.
However, he is not expected to start against his former club Buriram.
"Our players are ready to play except for [defender] Jakkapan [Praisuwan] who is nursing an injury," Vidmar said.
Their strike force will again be led by in-form forward Teerasil Dangda, who has scored five league goals this term, including two against Chiangmai last week.
Buriram have fared even better with six league wins in a row.
"Our players are brimming with confidence after successive wins," said Buriram coach Alexandre Gama.
"BG are a good team and also the defending champions. We hope we can continue our good run."
Their attack will be led by Brazilian forward Samuel Rosa and Thailand striker Supachai Chaided, who have formed a lethal partnership.
