Video: Yohan Lainesse enters ‘KO of the Year’ discussion with 14-second flying knee at CFFC 86

Yohan Lainesse put his name in the hat with the best knockouts of 2020 thus far with a picture perfect flying knee finish at CFFC 86 on Thursday.

Lainesse (5-0) needed just 14 seconds to put Lirim Rufati (4-3) on his highlight reel, soaring in the air in the opening moments of their middleweight matchup, which took place at 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Penn., and finding an accurate home for his knee.

Watch the highlight of the finish below, in real time and slo-mo, courtesy of UFC Fight Pass (via Twitter):

Lainesse, who hails from Canada, kept his perfect record in tact with the finish of Rufati. He’s finished four of his five wins in the first round, but none faster than his victory at CFFC 86.
