Video: Watch Andrew Sanchez’s nasty knockout at UFC on ESPN+ 32

Fans who watched Andrew Sanchez on the regional scene remember the finishing ability he displayed in the RFA.

But while the “TUF 23” champ has gone on to find success in the UFC, he hasn’t finished a win since knocking out John Poppie to win the RFA middleweight belt back in 2015.

Until Saturday, that is. Sanchez (12-5 MMA, 5-3 UFC) scored his first finish in five years, and it was of the highlight-reel variety. He knocked Wellington Turman cold in the opening round of their UFC on ESPN+ 32 preliminary card bout.

“El Dirte” dropped Turman (16-4 MMA, 1-2 UFC) with a wicked right hand that dropped him to the mat. The follow-up shot put his lights out, and the referee stepped in just as another was about to be delivered.

That marked the Missouri native’s third win in his past four fights, and you can see his handiwork below:

UFC on ESPN+32 takes place Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. The card streams on ESPN+.
