Video: Vitor Belfort latest MMA fighter to come after Jake Paul, wants to ‘put him to sleep’

Vitor Belfort wants in the Jake Paul boxing bout raffle.

The former UFC light heavyweight champion and now ONE Championship fighter is the latest MMA figure to take a shot at YouTuber Paul, who recently made headlines in the MMA world after calling out Conor McGregor and Dillon Danis following his KO win over former NBA player Nate Robinson.

In a video posted by ONE Championship, Belfort calls Paul a joke for stepping into his combat sports sphere.

“This is my kingdom; your kingdom is doing YouTube videos for this young generation,” Belfort said. “When I was a champion, you were born, you were just coming to this world. I’m going to put you to sleep, put you on your knees.

“And listen, with all the respect that I have, not for you but for your fans, I’m going to show who you are: You’re a joke. You’re not Jake Paul, you’re joke Paul. I will put you on my lap. Let’s go to sleep, baby.”

Belfort is one of the many fighters that have gone online to criticize Paul for calling out MMA fighters.

“The Phenom” hasn’t competed since May 2018 when he lost to Lyoto Machida via knockout at UFC 224. The 38-year-old is 1-3 with one no contest in his past five bouts. Belfort signed with ONE Championship in March 2019 but has yet to make his promotional debut.

Below is Belfort’s callout of Jake Paul:
