MELBOURNE, Australia – At Thursday’s UFC 243 media day, the fighters from the majority of the card came together to face off for the first time during fight week.
That included headliners Robert Whittaker (20-4 MMA, 11-2 UFC) vs. Israel Adesanya (17-0 MMA, 6-0 UFC), who fight to unify the UFC middleweight championship atop the card, which takes place at Saturday (Sunday locally) at Marvel Stadium. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN and UFC Fight Pass/ESPN+.
While there were no incidents during the staredowns, you can see the intensity on the fighters’ faces and in their eyes as the big card draws near.
