Golf fans everywhere hoping to see Tiger Woods make another run like he did at the 2019 Masters were bummed to see him miss the cut at 6-over despite a second-round 1-under at the British Open
Phil Mickelson, meanwhile, shot a 3-over on Day 2 at Royal Portrush. At 8-over, he too was left out of the weekend at the Open Championship, a major he won in 2013.
That result for both legends made history: It was the first time in 83 major starts together that both of them didn’t make the cut.
