This week: 'Thailand Pass', Twitter porn, Lisa no-show and Samui ganja.

The government will launch the "Thailand Pass" system for foreign visitors when the country reopens on Monday.

The new web-based system allows both Thai and foreign travellers to fill in their travel and health information and upload documents before they set off.

A 23-year-old woman was arrested in Chaiyaphum for posting pornographic videos and stills on her Twitter accounts.

Her three accounts had 200,000 followers.

Thai-born singer Lalisa "Lisa" Manoban, a member of K-pop group Blackpink, is not available to perform at the New Year countdown in Thailand.

The Tourism and Sports Ministry had planned to spend about 100 million baht inviting Lisa and Italian opera singer Andrea Bocelli to perform at the New Year countdown.

Immigration police arrested a British man on Koh Samui and charged him with illegal possession and use of marijuana.

He said he bought the marijuana for 60,000 baht from a Thai woman.
