Video: The almost deserted, eerily quiet streets and parks of Bristol in coronavirus lockdown

Eerie video shows some of Bristol's most popular spots almost completely deserted today (Sunday) amid the Covid-19 knockdown.

Normally, the habourside, Clifton Village and Greville Smyth Park would be teeming with people during the summer months.

But as the majority of people follow government's guidance to 'stay home', all of our city's beauty spots were empty this morning.

Only a solitary jogger was spotted running through Bedminster's Greville Smyth Park.

And no one was seen walking around the harbourside or Clifton Village.

The footage comes as the UK's coronavirus-related death toll peaked at 28,446 - the third highest in the world.

A new map has also been released which reveals which areas in our city has been hit the hardest during the outbreak.
