Video surfaces of pit lane confrontation between Keselowski and Hocevar

Just before the start of Sunday's NASCAR Cup race at Watkins Glen, NBC Sports displayed video, showing an apparent confrontation between Brad Keselowski and Carson Hocevar after qualifying on Saturday.

According to NBC, Hocevar thought Keselowski had impeded him during his qualifying run, so he decided to return the favor.

A frustrated Keselowski can be seen on video climbing from his No. 6 RFK Racing Ford, and then sprinting down pit road to the No. 77 stall. Some words were exchanged with Hocevar and team behind the wall before Keselowski marched away.

According to NBC, Keselowski claims he was trying to get out of the way while Hocevar believes he was impeded by the RFK driver. As a result, he purposely got in Keselowski's way during his own flying lap. Keselowski is apparently "over it" now, and just wants to focus on the race ahead.

The Spire Motorsports team asserts that Keselowski impeded them first, and that the actions taken by Hocevar were "not even close" to what was done to them, initially.

Hocevar qualified eighth for Sunday's race, while Keselowski ended up 16th on the grid. He went on to finish 18th, while Keselowski finished 31st, but there were no issues between the two during the race.

Hocevar has angered several rivals this year, and he's been in the middle of various controversies. He had a very public multi-week feud with Ricky Stenhouse Jr., who threatened to beat him up after an incident in Mexico City. Just one week ago, he got into Zane Smith, who tried and failed to wreck him later in the race. During post-race interviews with the media, Hocevar was confronted by Smith's crew chief, Ryan Bergenty.
