New York police officers have saved a man who was threatening to jump off one of the city's main bridges.
The man, who was reported to be 31 years old, had scaled a part of the Robert F Kennedy Bridge lift span on Sunday afternoon, bringing traffic to a standstill.
NYPD drone video footage shows the man in a green jacket and black trousers involved in a tense standoff with police officers.
Eventually, the man lies down on the platform and police officers move in quickly, pulling him to safety.
