Video shows moment man's head is stamped on after getting kicked to the ground in Beeston

Police have released CCTV footage of the moment a man's head was stamped on after he was kicked to the ground in Beeston.

Nottinghamshire Police is appealing for help in identifying a man and a woman in connection with the assault.

The incident happened in High Road at 6.50pm on Friday, March 29.

The assault started on the zebra crossing in High Road, and the victim suffered injuries after his head was stamped on a number of times on the pavement.

A Nottinghamshire Police spokesman said: "We’d like to speak to them in connection with an assault in High Road, Beeston, at 6.50pm on Friday 29 March 2019.

"A man was kicked and pushed to the ground before a man stamped on his head a number of times causing injuries. A woman also threw beer over the victim.

"If you recognise them or think you can help, please call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 831 of 29 March 2019, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
