A man was rushed to hospital following a late-night brutal attack which has been revealed in a shocking video.
The horrifying incident took place shortly after midnight on Sunday outside of a takeaway and reports confirm the attacker is still at large.
Footage taken on a mobile device shows the man, aged in his 30s, being violently attacked with a barrage of punches from another man before the man walks off.
A woman is then seen walking into the video shouting, before pushing a young man standing at the front door of the takeaway.
She then turns walks and turns to someone who is not being filmed at the time, before hitting them hard and walking off.
The violent incident which took place on North King Street, Dublin left the victim with injuries causing him to be rushed to the local Mater Hospital.
The Irish Police Force (Gardai) are investigating the assault and a spokesperson said: “Gardaí attached to Bridewell Garda Station are investigating an assault incident that occurred on North King Street, Dublin 7 at approximately 12.10am on Sunday, August 22, 2021.
“One male, aged in his 30s, was conveyed to Mater Hospital for treatment of injuries received during this incident.
“No arrests have been made and investigations ongoing.”
