This video shows the moment a bike thief abandons the bicycle he is on to steal another worth thousands.
A bounty of €10,000 has been put on the thief for anyone who can catch the person in the act after locals say they are constantly stealing bikes in the area.
Footage obtained by Dublin Live even shows the hungry thief abandoning his own bicycle on the road when he sees the opportunity to steal yet another one.
The video shows the thief scooting through a street riding on the bike when he spots a potential new set of wheels to his right.
He leaves the secluded area and parks his bike on the footpath outside before entering again on foot.
The thief struts slowly back into the area getting his hands on the new bicycle before whizzing passed his old two-wheeler.
A friend of the cyclist who owns this snatched bike said that the same person is "constantly at it" and locals want it to stop, hence the huge reward to capture him.
They told DublinLive.ie: "We're sick of it. He needs to be stopped.
"He's at it every weekend and has robbed a large amount of bikes in the area.
"That bicycle alone is worth €2,500 and that's just one of many that he has stolen.
"A reward of €10,000 has been put up for anyone who can catch this man in the act."
