Video shows Batman crashing motorbike in filming at Glasgow's Necropolis

Video captured earlier today shows Batman crashing his motorbike in filming at Glasgow's Necropolis.

The footage, taken by Lennon Kennedy, shows the superhero - or at least a stuntman version of him - cruising along the famous Bridge of Sighs, before losing control and falling off the bike in the Glasgow rain.

Meanwhile, snaps appear to show a second character involved in the scene, which some on social media are speculating could be 'Catwoman'.

Could this be Catwoman? (@LennonKennedy5)

Earlier, we shared the first images of the Caped Crusader in Glasgow, as he rode his motorbike through the iconic city landmark.

Warner Brothers production crew are in town for the filming of The Batman, which will take place over this weekend.

Roads in and around Glasgow Cathedral have been shut down - and will remain so over the weekend - as yet another blockbuster movie is shot in Glasgow.

Meanwhile, rumours have surfaced online suggesting the Cathedral may be 'blown up' in the new film, after reports of a mock of Glasgow Cathedral being built in a hangar near London.
