It looks like Chris Martin wishes he had never caught the two people seemingly in the throes of an affair during the Coldplay concert in Boston. While the original TikTok video of the moment has gone viral, there’s a longer version that shows the singer’s confused reaction.
When Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot were spotted hugging on the big screen, Chris was originally pleased with the footage. The CEO was surprised and appeared to say, “Fucking hell, it’s me”, before he turned away and hid from the camera.
“Oh, what?” Chris declared. “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy. I’m not quite sure what to do.”
“Oh shit, I hope we didn’t do something bad. Alright, okay,” he said, before launching into the next song.

According to E! News, the Coldplay frontman referenced the scandal later in the concert. When the camera honed in on another man and woman watching the show, he poked fun at the cheating CEO. “Are you two a legitimate couple?” he joked.
Considering Andy is currently married to Megan Kerrigan Byron — who has now dropped the ‘Byron’ from her last name on Facebook — this isn’t a scandal that’s going to blow over easily.
Coldplay’s lights have guided Andy straight to the divorce lawyer, I guess.

Although Andy or the other parties involved have not released an official statement, a fake statement has been making the rounds on social media. And look, it’s downright hilarious.
“I respect artists and entertainers, but I hope we can all think more deeply about the impact of turning someone else’s life into a spectacle. As a friend once sang, ‘Lights will guide you home, and ignite your bones, and I will try to fix you’,” the statement reads.

Astronomer told TMZ the statement said to be written by Andy is “not a real statement” but declined to reveal if or when an official statement will be made.
For now, it looks like Andy has gone into hiding. He’s deactivated his LinkedIn profile and hasn’t said a word. I’m just hoping for a breaking my silence type YouTube apology from the cheating CEO because damn, I’m invested.
