CES MMA 13, which took place June 10, 2012 at The Dunkin’ Donuts Center in Providence, R.I., featured Dave Bautista’s one and only MMA fight.
Bautista, a former pro wrestling champion with WWE who’s gone on to become a Hollywood star, was 43 at the time of his MMA debut. He was a couple of years removed from a stint with WWE and wanted to try his hand at a real fight. That night in Rhode Island, Bautista won by first-round TKO over Vince Lucero, who’s career record 22-26-1. The card also featured a collection of future UFC and Bellator fighters.
