Video: Reaction to Dana White, UFC being ‘out of the Cyborg business’

UFC president Dana White revealed Friday that the company has no intention of continuing a working relationship with former featherweight titleholder Cris Cyborg.

After a multi-year tenure that consisted of much drama and tension, Cyborg (21-2 MMA, 6-1 UFC) is apparently done with the promotion after seven fights, and White had a lot to say about the Brazilian on her way out the door.

The headline of it all, though, is that after completing her contract with a win over Felicia Spencer at UFC 240 this past weekend, White said the organization will wave her exclusive negotiation and matching periods, making her “free and clear” to fight elsewhere as soon as she’d like.

The writing was on the wall from the moment UFC 240 ended.

The worst thing of this Cyborg thing isn't even the "Cyborg is afraid of Nunes" thing. Cyborg will be fine, there are people interested in signing her and paying big money (but very likely not as much as she could get if the UFC wanted her). It's the excuses for GDR.
