Video of Kevin Durant walking to practice predictably gets analyzed by NBA fans

With the Warriors down 3-1 in the NBA Finals against the Toronto Raptors, it’s become abundantly clear that Golden State will be in trouble if Kevin Durant can’t play in the series.

Durant has missed a month since injuring his calf in Game 5 against the Rockets. For the most part, Durant hadn’t even looked close to coming back this postseason. He’s been watching games from the locker room and has been spotted with ice around his leg. But he hadn’t practiced, and there was no telling where his conditioning would be.

On Sunday, though, Steve Kerr announced that Durant had finally been cleared to practice, and they’d re-evaluate his status for Monday’s Game 5.

When Durant arrived for practice, a video showed Durant walking through the tunnel with a slight limp.

Whether Durant was exaggerating the limp for the cameras or simply not warmed up yet, NBA fans had plenty to say about the first glimpse of Durant getting ready for basketball activities.

He took the court just as the media was asked to leave.

We’ll have to see if Durant can actually pull this off. He’s at least trying to.
