Video of cheeky Glasgow kid goes viral after failed chocolate challenge attempt

A video of a cheeky Glasgow kid has gone viral after her family posted footage of her failed attempt at the chocolate challenge.

Dozens of parents across the UK have been putting their kids' will-power to the test with the challenge in recent weeks - producing mixed results.

And in this instance, it doesn't take long for one-year-old Hallie Grace Hendrie to start scoffing the bowl of tasty treats, seconds after being told: 'just don't touch it until mummy comes back, ok?'.

Initially, the toddler shows restraint, avoiding the chocolate despite the obvious temptation.

But, just moments later, the challenge is over as Hallie fills her mouth with the tasty treats, more or less instantly being caught red - or chocolate - handed, at which point she sheepishly pulls the remaining sweets out of her mouth and puts them back in the bowl.

The video, which was shared on Twitter on Monday night, has already had over 130,000 views, almost 10,000 likes and 1,000 retweets.

Hallie's aunt, Megan Friel, simply posted the video with the caption 'don't think my niece passed this chocolate challenge'. We think that's fair to say! Don't worry Hallie - we doubt we'd pass the challenge either.
