New video surfaced of the Chargers and Rams stadium. The stadium is set to open prior to the 2020 NFL regular season. Here are some future events that will take place there, as well as the amount of money that is being poured into the stadium:
Los Angeles Stadium at Hollywood Park appears to be coming together fast and in amazing fashion. An overhead shot of the construction courtesy of the LA Times’ Arash Markazi shows just how big the Inglewood complex will be. The nearly $5 billion stadium plans to open its doors in 2020 and is scheduled to host Super Bowl LVI in 2022, the College Football Playoff National Championship in 2023 and the 2028 Summer Olympics.
You didn’t think $5 billion was just for the Bolts and the Rams, did you? Hopefully those experiences help grow the NFL audiences at the stadium. Winning should help. Both teams did plenty of that in 2018. For now, check out the video below:
