The Atlanta Falcons lost by double-digits to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday as all of the team’s problems from the first half of the season seemed to reappear.
The offensive line gave up too much pressure, the defensive line couldn’t get sacks and the secondary was exposed by Tampa’s Chris Godwin. There’s no time to fret, though, as the Falcons host the 9-2 New Orleans Saints on Thanksgiving.
Quarterback Matt Ryan was at the podium late Monday afternoon expanding on what went wrong during the team’s Week 12 loss to Tampa Bay:
The Falcons opened Thursday’s matchup as 6.5-point underdogs, but will try and pull off the upset over the Saints for the second time this month.
