Video: Kevin Holland brought the entertainment in defeat at FURY Pro Grappling 3

UFC middleweight star Kevin Holland delivered the entertainment despite suffering a loss to Kody Hamrah on Thursday at FURY Pro Grappling 3.

Holland was one of multiple UFC notable slated for the event in Philadelphia, and despite a perceived massive grappling disadvantage against Hamrah, more than held his own in the submission-only bout.

Despite the difference in rules from an MMA fight, Holland was his naturally charismatic self on the grappling mat. He taunted Hamrah and used tactics such as inviting his opponent into the guard and using various rolling techniques from bottom position.

Hamrah remained consistent, though, and controlled from top position when he needed and avoid Holland’s advances. Hamrah got a big slam in the final seconds, too, putting an exclamation point on his win.

Neither man was ever in serious danger of being submitted over the course of eight minutes, however, so it went to the judges, who gave the victory to Hamrah.
