That’s what Julia Budd and Cris Cyborg will do Saturday in the Bellator 238 headliner, with women’s featherweight gold on the line. The pair faced off one final time at Friday’s ceremonial weigh in, and now time winds down until they share the cage.
The champion Budd (13-2 MMA, 7-0 BMMA) and the challenger Cyborg (21-2 MMA, 0-0 BMMA) have shown the utmost respect for one another in the time leading up to Bellator 238, which takes place at The Forum with a main card that streams on DAZN following prelims on MMA Junkie. During their final face-to-face, though, the intensity shot up.
