CLEVELAND – Jake Paul and Tyron Woodley came face-to-face for the first time during fight week Thursday.
At the conclusion of the pre-fight press conference, at which both men had plenty to say to and about each other, Paul and Woodley had yet another pre-fight staredown. Similar to the previous two, the pair kept professional, but the intensity was high.
The faceoff was another step in the build toward Sunday’s Showtime pay-per-view boxing match, which takes place at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in downtown Cleveland.
Woodley, a former UFC welterweight champion, will make his professional boxing debut in the contest with Paul, who is undefeated thus far through three career bouts, with all of his wins coming by knockout.
