Video: England players love it as Harry Winks destroys Tyrone Mings during training session

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Harry Winks showed no mercy to England new boy Tryone Mings in a training session on Friday.

The 23-year-old Spurs star was taking part in a rondo during a training session ahead of England's Euro 2020 qualifier with Bulgaria on Saturday.

Aston Villa defender Mings is enjoying his first England call-up and as the piggy in the middle during the rondo he was chasing the ball around the circle.

He wasn't however expecting a cheeky backheel from Winks which rolled between his legs and left the other England players showing their appreciation for the bit of skill with gasps and whoops.

It didn't end up working out in Winks' favour though as he still ended up having to take his turn in the middle.

That didn't stop him from heading over with a big grin to 26-year-old Mings after the rondo to talk about that move and the Villa man took it all very well.

The pair hugged as they discussed the moment while walking off the pitch.

Here's a video clip of that cheeky bit of skill from the young Tottenham midfielder in training.

Winks will be hoping to get a chance to impress in the midfield for England after his bright start to the season with Spurs.

The young midfielder missed the UEFA Nations League finals in the summer after only returning from injury just before the fixtures and he will be looking to make up for list time and show his skillset is one Gareth Southgate is missing in the centre of the pitch.
