Video: Drake appears to call Draymond Green ‘trash’ after Game 1

As the Golden State Warriors walked off the floor following a 118-109 loss to the Toronto Raptors in Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Thursday, it appeared Draymond Green and Raptors super fan-slash-rapper Drake got into a bit of a trash-talking match.

Green had 10 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists for Golden State, but his counterpart Pascal Siakam had a playoff career-high 32 points on 14-for-17 shooting and pulled down eight rebounds. As Green and the Warriors were walking off the floor, it appears Drake looked at Green and called him “trash,” if anybody can read lips.

Drake, a Toronto native and the Raptors’ global ambassador, has been a rowdy fan all postseason drawing the ire of both the opposing teams and the league. The NBA talked to the Raptors about his antics in a way to try and get him to calm down a bit on the sidelines.

After this incident, it appears the rapper is going to ignore all of that and continue to do his thing.

The Warriors will look to bounce back in Game 2 on Sunday.
