NEW YORK – Ahead of UFC 244, MMA Junkie caught up with UFC president Dana White for an exclusive interview.
UFC 244 takes place Saturday at Madison Square Garden and streams on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN2, ESPN+ and UFC Fight Pass. In the main event, Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz will square off in a welterweight clash for the “BMF” title.
On Friday, White offered his thoughts on Masvidal vs. Diaz and the “BMF” belt itself, as well as Diaz’s scare with the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency, DAZN’s decision to delay streaming Canelo Alvarez’s fight until after UFC 244, the latest on Zuffa Boxing, and an update on Conor McGregor’s targeted return for Jan. 18.
