Guardian Masterclasses has partnered with the renowned experts of Rosenblum TV to provide you with the opportunity to quickly and cheaply attain the skills to shoot, edit and share broadcast-quality video footage.

Rosenblum TV's renowned video production boot camp has enjoyed global success with clients including the BBC, New York Times and United Nations. Whether you're working for a print publication, radio network, online business or simply an enthusiastic amateur, our comprehensive courses will provide you with the ability to join the open journalism revolution, transform your website, bring your corporate video production in-house, become a YouTube auteur – or simply create stunning home movies.

Ranging from one to four days in duration, these courses employ Rosenblum TV's unique methodology, teaching techniques which work as well for a one hour documentary as a two minute short, and foolproof methods of shooting and editing video that guarantee perfect footage every time.

All courses include a mix of classroom tuition, practical exercises and individual feedback to give you hands-on experience as well as expert knowledge.

Tutor profiles

Michael Rosenblum is a technology and digital journalism pioneer who has been on the cutting edge of the tech revolution for over 25 years. His company Rosenblum TV's renowned video production bootcamp has enjoyed global success with clients including the BBC, Conde Nast, New York Times and United Nations. He is the founder of The Travel Channel Academy, New York Video School and NYT Television, a New York Times Company, and the largest producer of non-fiction television in the US. He also founded Current TV in partnership with Al Gore.

Lisa Lambden is the managing director of Rosenblum TV and runs a group of media companies based in New York, producing video journalism-driven programming, consulting on digital media projects and training thousands of people worldwide to create video content. Lisa is also the creator and Managing Director for New York Video School and a founding partner of The Travel Channel Academy. Prior to joining Rosenblum TV, she spent 17 years with the BBC, holding a wide range of positions from on-air reporter to running TV newsrooms.

Times: 9.30am-5.30pm. Check-in begins 30 minutes before the start time.

Refund/Cancellation Policy

If tuition is paid in full at the time of registration, a refund is allowed up to 30 days before the course date.
All refunds are subject to a service fee: $75.00 for our US courses or £50.00 for our UK courses.
Rosenblum TV reserves the right to cancel a scheduled course up to 21 days before the course starts. If Rosenblum TV cancels a course all deposits and course fees will be refunded. Course participants who book non-refundable travel or accommodations do so at their own risk.
