Here is the video where Taoiseach Micheál Martin warns the country is facing severe restrictions until the end of April.
There was a huge furore all day after the news of the potential extended lockdown was revealed in the Irish Mirror.
This clip shows exactly what Mr Martin said in the explosive Mirror interview.
And he is clear when he tells our Political Correspondent, Ciara Phelan, that "significant" and "severe" restrictions are on the cards for potentially another nine weeks.
There will be very little relief aside from a phased reopening of schools - and some construction will resume.
Mr Martin said: “We are looking at a continuation of severe restrictions, certainly right into April.”
And then he added: “Beyond Easter we’ll look at it again but I think until the end of April you can look at significant restrictions, we’ll review it after that then because we have to see where we are.”
