Well, that was fun.
Ohio State raced out to an 18 point lead, then Purdue countered and came all the way back to force overtime in the second half. The Buckeyes then rebounded and found a way to wrestle momentum back and win the Big Ten quarterfinal matchup 87-78.
After a rough ending to the regular season, and after getting beat by Purdue twice during prior this year, the victory had to be a sweet one.
After the game, OSU head coach Chris Holtmann and players E.J Liddell and Duane Washington met with the media to discuss what they saw and felt in the game, and to reflect on the journey the team has been on.
