Video captures horrific Blairdardie ‘stabbing’ attack as two men taken to hospital

Two men are in hospital with serious injuries following a disturbance in Blairdardie, thought to be a stab attack.

Footage from the incident, which happened around 10.30am on Saturday (May 8) shows two men brawling in Keal Avenue, in the north of the city.

The incident is believed to have been a stab attack, reports by the Daily Record

As reported on Glasgow Live, police remained on the scene yesterday afternoon having locked down the area.

They confirmed two men, aged 41 and 39, were taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment to ‘serious injuries'.

Enquiries into the incident remain ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “At around 10.30am on Saturday, police received a report of a disturbance on Keal Avenue in Glasgow.

"Officers are in attendance and two men, aged 41 and 39, have been taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with serious injuries.

"The incident was contained and there was no risk to the wider public.

"Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.”
