LAS VEGAS – The weigh-ins are done and dusted for UFC on ESPN+ 34, and the headliners had no issues.
Then again, they’re heavyweights, so non one expected them to have any problems. That also meant they could take their time waking up Friday – they were the last two fighters to weigh in during the two-hour window at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. The same venue hosts Saturday’s card, which streams on ESPN+.
In the main event, former heavyweight title challenger Alistair Overeem (46-18 MMA, 11-7 UFC) takes on Augusto Sakai (15-1-1 MMA, 4-0 UFC). Overeem was 252.5 pounds. Sakai was 261.5.
