The Atlanta Falcons were in need of a running back and landed All-Pro Todd Gurley less than a day after the Rams released him. Gurley, 25, is coming off of a down year, but is still a very capable player.
His release was about money more than production, though, as he was scheduled to get a $10.5 million roster bonus. Now returning to the state where he was a college star at the University of Georgia, Gurley could be just what the Falcons need to spark some life into their rushing attack.
