The morning after the Yomiuri Giants won back-to-back Central League championships, victory sales began at various shopping centers nationwide on Saturday.

Customers lined up -- but maintained a social distance from one another -- at Marronnier Gate Ginza in Chuo Ward, Tokyo, before doors opened at 11:00 a.m. When the store opened, customers were greeted by employees wearing Giants' happi coats with the team's mascot Giabbit on the back. They were also given canned coffee with the team's logo and an extra edition of a newspaper announcing the team's victory.

An exhibition showcasing photos of famous scenes from throughout the season was also held, and Hayato Sakamoto's uniform and other items were on display as well, to allow visitors to take photos and savor the victory.
