After a washout in 2018, Victorious Festival was back with a bang this year with an incredible line up mixed with glorious weather making it an occasion not to be missed.
Despite boasting growingly impressive line-ups in the last few years, the Portsmouth event still isn't quite on the national radar but there's certainly the feeling that won't last long.
The 2019 bill offered up some huge names from the past and present including indie favourites and chart topping stars - a variety which seemed to keep the whole family happy.
Each of the stages sit on the seafront or around Southsea Castle, which means the festival has some pretty impressive backdrops.
Lewis Capaldi drew one of the biggest crowds of the weekend, with thousands of people singing along to his emotional tunes and his brilliant (and somewhat sweary) stage manner had everyone in stitches.
He was signed up before shooting to fame with Someone You Loved which meant he wasn't even on the main stage, but that didn't stop fans flocking to see him.
Bloc Party took everyone back to 2005 by playing most of their debut album Silent Alarm, telling the cheering crowd it would be their last UK gig for a while.
Indie kids were in their element with the Futureheads, Ash, the Rifles and the Twang bringing back their old classics.
Local talent also took to the festival stages, including The Southsea Alternative Choir, a group set up in 2010 to raise money for charity.
They had hundreds of people singing along to a number of classic tunes, a perfect line-up addition for a Sunday afternoon.
Upcoming Pompey performer Joe Burger, who is making a name for himself rapping about pork pies and having halves on a cigarette, was full of energy and managed to get everyone up and dancing despite the 30 degree heat.
The Sunday headlines were a real contrast - with New Order taking the main stage while Clean Bandit entertained crowds on the Castle Stage.
Away from the main stages guests could also explore the World Music Village, featuring a variety of bands, DJs and spoken word performers from around the globe.
The Beats and Swing tent is definitely the best place for dancing, and Southsea Castle's champagne bar is the perfect place for to take a break from the action to admire the stunning views.
Another year, another brilliant Victorious - here's to 2020.
