Victorian townhouse in Hyndland up for sale for £1.1million

Glasgow's not a city that's short on stunning buildings. Whether it's our iconic tenements or the more sleek and modern designs, there's plenty of ogling to be done for architect fans.

And of course, we're not lacking in extravagant mansions and villas either. For those of us that love to window shop the most decadent properties our city has to offer, that's very good news!

So when we came across this 120-year-old Hyndland townhouse up for sale, we couldn't resist a peek inside.

Built between 1899 and 1901, this red sandstone B-listed west end property is full of traditional features, including detailed ceiling cornicing, stained leaded glass windows and wood paneling.

It boasts a vestibule, large reception hall with original fireplace and staircase, cloakroom, WC, formal lounge with oriel windows and drawing room.

There is also a family room with French doors leading to the rear garden, dining kitchen, utility room, wet room, five double bedrooms - including a master with en suite - family bathroom, cellar and store room.

Outside, there is a landscaped enclosed garden with a raised sundeck. However, if you're someone that needs a bit of green space, the property also has access to the private residents' garden.

It'll come as no surprise that a property like this doesn't come cheap - and this one is on the market for offers over £1.1million.

If that happens to be within your budget, then you can take a closer look here!
