The UK arm of Victoria's Secret has gone into administration, putting more than 800 jobs at risk.
The lingerie retailer currently has two stores in Glasgow - on Buchanan Street and at Glasgow Airport.
Buchanan Galleries welcomed the flagship store back in 2018 which saw customers queuing down the street to get in.
More than 800 jobs and 25 stores are now at risk.
Deloitte have been called in for a "light touch" administration and will try to find a buyer for its assets or re-negotiate its rents.
Deloitte administrator Rob Harding said: "This is yet another blow to the UK high street and a further example of the impact the Covid-19 pandemic is having on the entire retail industry.
"The effect of the lockdowns, combined with broader challenges facing bricks and mortar retailers, has resulted in a funding requirement for this business, resulting in today's administration.
"We will now work with the existing management team and broader stakeholders to assess all options available for the future of the business.
"As administrators we'd like to thank them and all of the employees for their support, at what we appreciate is a difficult time."
The announcement comes following further job cuts across businesses in Glasgow.
As previously reported by Glasgow Live, around 700 jobs are expected to be lost at the Rolls-Royce factory in Inchinnan.
Staff at the Blythswood Square hotel have been braced for redundancies as bosses announced that the business will have to undergo a restructure. Around 20 jobs are expected to be lost.
Frankie and Benny's are reported to be closing a 'large number' of restaurants.
There is currently one Frankie & Benny's venue in Glasgow, at the Quay, with nine more in the Greater Glasgow area, including the restaurant at Silverburn.
