A man has appeared in court charged with murdering another man on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula.
Jesse Tovey, 26, is alleged to have murdered 29-year-old Joshua Tovey at Hastings on Monday.
The accused killer appeared in Melbourne Magistrates Court on Tuesday via audio-visual link.
The court was told he received medication for anxiety and depression, as well as for an ongoing inflammatory joint condition.
He was remanded to reappear on May 25 for a committal mention.
