Commuters are facing rush-hour chaos this morning after the Victoria Line was suspended due to an incident at Stockwell.

London Underground said trains were temporarily cancelled between Victoria and Brixton after a casualty on the track with the rest of the line severely delayed.

The line is no longer suspended but is running with minor delays.

Meanwhile, the Metropolitan Line is severely delayed between Aldgate and Wembley Park as a new signalling system gets rolled out this week.

London Overground travellers are also dealing with minor delays between Gospel Oak and Barking after a train fault.

It comes after the entire Northern Line was suspended yesterday morning.

A London Ambulance Service spokesman said: "We were called at 6:39am today to Stockwell underground station to reports of an incident.

"We sent an incident response officer, a medic in a car and an ambulance crew to the scene. We also dispatched our hazardous area response team (HART) and London's Air Ambulance.

"We treated a man at the scene and took him to hospital."
